The bible calls the woman/wife a helper for a husband. Genesis 2:18. According to this we know that a wife's duties are based on what her husband needs are. He could be a used car salesman and need her to keep the books or write receipts for the car sales. He could be a farmer and need her to help with buying seeds or planting. He could be an attorney and needs help with the letterhead or emails going out to his clients. He could be a police officer and needs her to work fulltime or part time out of the house, etc. TMH clearly left this to the man to decide where he needs his wife, she's for us.
